We usually call chick-peas "nuts", although they are not really; they are produced after roasting of chickpeas which are very nutritious pulses. Greece produces chick-peas, but we also import chick-peas from Turkey.
- What is very good about chick-peas is that they do not contain many fats, while they contain proteins, carbohydrates, natural fibres and various vitamins (A, beta carotene, K and C).
